I was having a conversation yesterday and I said something that I’d never thought about before ” You have to let part of yourself die before you can replace it with a new piece of you”
We are 100% ourselves but what happens when we want to change who we are? We have to replace a % of use with the new us how does this transition happen and how do we make it happen faster? We force ourselves into situations where we have to change.
You must physically get there and force your mind to change. I’ve learned that it’s a lot harder to think something before it happens then to make it happen and require your mindset to shift.
Example: I really like daily harvest coconut waters and always imagine how it would be to have a fridge stocked up when I have a bunch of money. The reality is I can already afford it but my mind can’t justify it. SO I forced myself to become ok with it and work through the feeling of lack buy purchasing a couple of cases. Overtime this will become normal and I will then BE IN THE STATE I ONCE IMAGINED while feeling ok with it. We have to force ourselves to change into the people we want to be. Our mind’s job is to keep us safe we have to say fuck that and grow.
GO towards the YOU YOU want to be even if there’s resistance because with enough momentum you will cause the shift to shift in your favor
